The staff and service was what stands out the most, they do their best to ensure you are always safe and clean. It's on the expensive side but what you are paying for is the extensive knowledge of the guide on the safari which is missing in other places. We have both learnt a lot about different animals and behaviours on this safari and it's an experience that will stay with us forever

From the very beginning the communication with the host was seamless, they made sure we find the location and picked us up with a jeep where the road started to be too rough for a normal car. The whole experience was amazing, my spider enthusiast son found a soulmate in Ranil, a conservation biologist who runs the place while engaged in fascinating research projects. The food was always freshly made and delicious, the tent was comfortable with beautiful surroundings. As a special treat, Ranil's dad joined us on our safari and shared his wealth of knowledge about the anilmals in Wilpattu National Park, including the leopard couple we spotted on a tree. Thank you for the amazing experience, we felt like we were part of the family.

Amazing little place in the middle of the countryside next to a lagoon that you can swim in! (No crocs). Very friendly and helpful owner and staff who will try to help you in every way You can see so many birds and animals from the place itself You can do a local bird walk or a half or full day safari in Wilpattu National Park The dinner is home cooked Sri Lankan style, very fresh and tasty and plenty of it! Hashan is an awesome host! He is very caring and you can always count on him for anything and have nice chats! We basically found a new friend! His little resort is very cozy. The rooms were simple but you had everything you needed. You can choose your breakfast and Dinner Time and the food was really good too. His dogs and his cat are super friendly and cute and he takes care not only of his customers but also of all the animals. Thanks again for having us, it was a great experience ❤️
