I really enjoyed the smell and quality of linen and towels. And they do have hot water showers now (which we didn’t expect due to the reviews)

It is an incredible and unique glamping experience. The “tents” (it is more of a 5 star hotel suite) are clean, spacious, fully equipped (private wifi and AC) and comfortable. We also had a private jacuzzi. Besides, the food is exceptional (one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka). We did the one day safari and it was certainly one of our favorite days of our entire trip. You get to see many animals while being accompanied by a wildlife specialist (ours was Kusar and he is very knowledgeable and friendly). Staff from the hotel met us inside the national park to bring us a delicious Sri Lankan lunch. Finally, the staff of the hotel is amazing. Thank you Rua and Latchan for your friendliness and professionalism. We will come back for sure!

Best place, best food, best people, best ranger, best jeep driver, best safari, best Leopard!! Couldn’t ask for more, highly recommended.

The feeling of being so close to nature while having all our needs taken care of was truly special. The entire trip was seamless, and that's thanks to Sara, who organized everything flawlessly. From the delicious food to the well-maintained campsite and the knowledgeable guides, every detail was perfect. The safari itself was unforgettable, with amazing wildlife sightings and stay inside the yala national park. in the night time we show leopard around us.with the many of animals sounds actually we didn't sleep, it unusual for us.this is the same like we stayed in Serengeti National park in Kenya.same feeling i got in here. This is the ultimate way to experience Yala, national park inside night with animals and we highly recommend it!

Just come back from a great two night stay at Green Villa, the staff were so lovely and attentive, couldn’t ask for more and nothing was too much! Couldn’t recommend this place enough

Beautiful stay that transported me away to nature. The camp was stunning, with amazing outdoor meals, wonderful trails, and comfortable and well appointed tents. Beyond the site itself, everyone there was so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The safari was AMAZING- fun, educational, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and even a jungle cat. This is thanks to a keen eye and ability to know where to go, which was also away from the really busy sites so it felt much more private and enjoyable than expected.

This tent features a seating area, private entrance and dining area. Το Yala Wild Hut - Yala βρίσκεται σε Tissamaharama και απέχει 19 χλμ από Tissa Wewa. Our stay at the Yala Wild Hut was amazing! The place was quite easy to find, although it was a few hundred meters off the paved road. Our tent was spacious, comfortable and clean, exactly like it was pictured on Booking.com. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, plus the free coffee/tea was also very nice. We also booked a Yala morning safari through Yala Wild Hut, which we can definitely recommend.

Staying here is a highlight of my month trip in Sri Lanka. I wanted to go to a better Yala National Park entrance than the crowded one handling people coming from Kataragama and Tissamaharama. With less crowding and a good guide, this helps minimize impact to animals on safaris. The villa is new and only had a couple reviews, but I decided to take a chance because they are the only reasonably priced stay I saw in the area and because they are near my prefered Yala entrance gate. I wasn't disappointed when I arrived since the place was comfortable with a good mattress, working A/C, it's a stand-alone unit, and had a relaxing vine-canopy shaded porch. The room itself is basic but has everything you need. Prasad and his family were amazing. They helped me get a new Sim card when mine broke and provided me with the best breakfasts, fresh juices, snacks, and conversations. I thoroughly enjoyed my three nights here!!
