Our family, including a 3 and 8-year-old, just returned from a magical trip with M'Hamid Sahara Camp! Arriving in M'Hamid, we were delighted to find a vibrant cultural festival in full swing. Cheikh Larbi's team went above and beyond, ensuring we felt safe and comfortable exploring the festivities. We then embarked on an incredible 3-night dromedary safari. Our guide was fantastic - knowledgeable, attentive, and wonderful with the kids. He led us through breathtaking landscapes, we even saw gazelles! The kids loved the gentle dromedaries. Sleeping under the stars was a highlight. With zero light pollution, the sky was an endless tapestry of stars - truly awe-inspiring! Cheikh Larbi, who grew up in the desert, shared his vast knowledge and passion with us. We learned so much about the ecosystem, the stars, and Berber culture. The camp itself was an oasis of comfort and tranquility, with delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As a father, I felt confident in the safety and security of the environment. Not big dunes, but you can experience the sand colors during sunset and sunrise. The road to the camp is accessible to any type of car. The communication with the host was perfect, and I was waited in the nearby village to be guided to the camp. Comfortably sleeping in the tent. Clean toilet, hot water, shower. Good meals, but the dinner is overpriced. If you need wifi, the hosts provide hotspot access on their phones. Otherwise, note that Internet over Orange is not reliable. The hosts are very attentive and caring, persistently asking if everything is ok.

We had an outstanding experience at Chegaga Berber Camp. The staff were incredibly friendly, and both the breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. The accommodations were comfortable, with cozy beds and a great atmosphere overall. We were picked up in the village of Hamid for 90 euros round-trip, and all communication was smoothly handled via WhatsApp. There were plenty of activities to enjoy at the camp, like playing pétanque or surfing on the sand dunes. Ali was amazing—he arranged a camel ride for us and made sure everything was perfect. In the evenings, we had a fantastic time singing around the campfire with Mohamed, Ali, Mustapha, and other guests. It was one of the best experiences we’ve had all year. I highly recommend staying for at least two nights and taking a three-hour walk to the high dune to soak in the local atmosphere. It was truly a unique opportunity. Thanks to the entire team for this exceptional experience!

From the moment we arrived at the green pottery shop, we were welcomed by the incredible Owner who welcomed us with vegetarian couscous’s in his father’s home! Then when we finally arrived at the camp Ali, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unforgettable. The hospitality we received was warm and genuine. He was amazing. The culinary delights were a highlight, especially the chef's amazing talent. To our surprise, he even crafted a delicious vegan birthday cake, which was a lovely personal touch. One of the most enchanting experiences was our private dinner under the stars. Surrounded by the vast desert and twinkling constellations, it truly felt like a dream come true. The Berber music band added to the ambiance, making the evening feel even more special. We had a fantastic private tour of the Sahara, where the beauty of the dunes left us in awe. The tents were luxurious and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of adventure. Watching the sunsets and sunrises over the desert landscape was breathtaking—moments we’ll cherish forever. We also enjoyed sandboarding on the Tinfou dunes after we watched the sunrise which was thrilling and a great way to embrace the natural beauty of the area. We genuinely felt humbled by the entire experience. It was one of the best times of our lives, and we cannot wait to return, this time bringing more family along. Highly recommend Tinfou Desert Camp for anyone looking to create lasting memories in a stunning setting!
