Offering bathrobes, this tent includes a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and slippers. The tent features a terrace with outdoor furniture and garden views to relax in after a busy day. Shivapuri is a very special unique place, catering to all types of travellers. This is the second time that I am staying at Shivapuri and it feels like home. The owners and staff are beyond accommodating and helpful and kind. Every time I have stayed here I choose the tent option because they are the most cosy, luxury and spacious tents I have ever stayed in and the views of the surrounding hills and Kathmandhu are incredible ! I chose this place because it offers a place to rest away from the intensity of the city but not so far away that you can't get into town easily. It really is set in the most perfect location, you can choose if you want to spend the day in nature or visit the temples in Kathmandu centre. The food is exceptional, all home grown and home made and catered to your every need. I cannot recommend this place more, I will definitely come back here when I return to Nepal, it is perfect for travelling alone or with your loved ones. Thank you Shivapuri for making my stay so happy and welcoming and I look forward to visiting again soon !

This hotel is perfectly placed on top of a hill overlooking the Balthali Valley with,on a clear day amazing views of the Himalayas! The staff and family,who ran it, were absolutely brilliant! The room was delightful and the food was the best we have had so far travelling in India and Nepal. Great authentic Nepalese cuisine! We were there for Tihar and the family asked to join them for the celebrations, which was very special indeed! They also arranged our trip to Namobuddha! Excellent hotel, lovely family and staff! Just book it!
