I went there alone just before the national strikes and I was in a great shock to be honest. The hotel owner lady and Remita were so kind to calm me down. I will never forget those days. I thank to everyone with all my heart. It was more than a hotel for me.

The whole vast set up of the hostel with a huge restaurant cafe & chill out space in the middle is a perfect place to socialize with other travelers. Rooms are super affordable yet hygienic and the workers here are just lovely. Everybody comes with a biggest smile and hospitality, eager to help you out with any further plans of travels. The birds are chirping, loads of greens inside the property. A perfect quiet getaway to stay in such a busy capital area.

I looked all over the Internet for the perfect place to stay during my time in Bathali, I am so glad I found Thumki Resort, the Hotel is located in the most beautiful scenic location and the views during sunrise and sunset were remarkable, the Staff was very friendly and the food was brilliant in all aspects truly authentic Nepali cuisine. I’ll definitely visit if I’m ever in the area again and highly recommend anyone else to do so as well.
