The place is lovely and in the middle of nature, the best we had on our 10 days trip on the south island. We stayed in 'Tom's hut', this is detached from the main building but right next to it. The hut is very cosy and the heating is very strong. We also really liked the common areas with the big kitchen and the fireplace with firewood. While staying there, we hiked across the farm and beyond on land that's not public to enjoy the beautiful scenery, a unique experience. Thanks Alana for being so helpful and for her kids showing us the farm animals :)

Milky way right above the huts. Couldn't be more perfect. We even met a wee tour guide that showed us the farm and the animals during the morning of the check out. This place is in such a beautiful location, with amazing views and lots of native birds around. The tiny house was modern and clean. It was lovely exploring the property on the trails. The hosts Malcolm and Lyn were so lovely. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to escape the city and have some relaxation out in nature.
