Right above it, a view opens up to the rugged, pristine desert, where you can marvel at the changing colors of the sand at sunset, and from your own terrace you can peacefully watch the sunrise over the wide open landscape. For me as a European, the food was amazing. I wouldn’t give the chef just ten stars, but twenty. Very, very delicious good, offered to guests with love — I can truly recommend this place to everyone! Sleeping in de desert is a unique experience but the people of the moon light luxury camp (both staff and the other guests) made it an even more exceptional experience. Really, it was just great. The dinner and the breakfast we had there were incredible. Spending some time talking to each other around the fire under the light of the moon and the stars was so nice.

I recently stayed at Marbella Bungalows, and it was a very pleasant experience! From the warm welcome to the thoughtful service, everything was well taken care of. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The food was delicious, with a variety of dishes that felt freshly made and full of flavor. I had requested a birthday surprise, and they arranged it beautifully and every detail was thoughtfully done, making the celebration extra special. The hospitality throughout our stay made us feel right at home, and it was clear that the team takes pride in giving guests a memorable experience. Overall, this is a place I’d love to visit again, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming stay in middle of the desert with great service and delicious food.

Everybody was very friendly and we felt very welcome as guests. The food was delicious and fresh prepared. We can highly recommend this place- a perfect place to stay in the desert

Accommodation was really nice, being able to sit on the balcony was really peaceful with great views. Food was also very good. The early evening walk in the desert (which is free) meant being able to see a fantastic desert sunset. Also did the trip to an authentic bedouin camp on the second day which was really interesting and gave a great insight into the culture. Would highly recommend a stay here at royal desert camp.

Everyone and everything was perfect. It was a hot night and the staff put our beds outside the tents, sleeping under the stars and full moon night was above and beyond our expectations. Camel rides were a little pricey but ya gotta do it. Diner and breakfast were traditional and plentiful. We will be back!

The camp itself was beautifully set up – very clean, peaceful, and with a truly magical atmosphere under the stars. What made the experience even more special was the amazing driver and guide, Ali. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire stay. His passion for the desert and local culture really came through, and he made sure everything was perfect. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely – just completely relaxed and in awe of the stunning surroundings. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert experience! And the food was really nice too.

We stayed one night at Thousand Stars Desert Camp and had an unforgettable experience. The camp is located deep in the desert in a quiet and remote setting, perfect for disconnecting from the world. The food was excellent, the restroom facilities were far beyond expectations, and the tent was very spacious and comfortable. We watched the sunset from the dunes, enjoyed a delicious dinner, and spent a peaceful evening by the firepit and under the stars. The stargazing platform was an incredible experience. The team was outstanding. Saddam took great care of us, and Ali was extremely welcoming and guided us perfectly, sharing insight into desert life and Omani culture.
