The host had good communication and provided all the information that we required for checkin well beforehand. We were met by Adam in the coffee shop on the ground floor and he spoke excellent English. We paid for onsite car parking and that was well worth it. The apartment itself was fabulous. It was spacious, clean and provided everything we needed for a 3 night stay. It was very bright with large windows, in a quiet area, and had good heating. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. The kitchen had all the facilities and equipment for cooking meals. The bathroom was nice, with a large shower, good toiletries and hot water. It is a good base from which to visit other nearby towns - Cesky , Rosenberg and Hluboka. We consider it was good value for money and would recommend it.

The family-run Hotel U Kaplicky is a 10-minute walk from the Old Bridge in the historic royal town of Pisek. All rooms are en-suite and they come with wooden furniture and work desks. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. This hotel was really, really nice. It was clean, spacious, and the breakfast was very good. Natalie in the reception was very kind and helpful. She recommended restaurants and a place where we could go for a swim🙂 Would definitely come back, and I would, without a doubt, recommend this hotel to others.

Svachova Lhotka Golf Club is 5 km away. The hotel is in a very old building which makes for an authentic experience. Narrow winding staircases etc, make it feel like stepping back in time. The receptionist was very friendly. The rest of the staff were lovely too. The breakfast was very good. It is in the centre of the town so close to everything. I'd happily say here again.

This recently renovated guest house is located 25 km from Přemysl Otakar II Square and 300 metres from Main Square in Český Krumlov. The guest house has family rooms. I stopped here during a road trip round Europe and I think it was best of all the places I stayed (and they were all amazing!). Cesky Krumlov is insanely beautiful, so it’s testament to how great this place is that I wasn’t in a rush every morning to get out an explore. The rooms are beautifully decorated but still incredibly comfortable and practical. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were super friendly. The person-free check in worked perfectly, and even after a dicey drive through the snow to get there I was immediately able to relax. The location on the edge of the old town is perfect, meaning all the sights are within a short walk, but there’s no noise from crowds. There is limited parking at the hotel but there is loads around the town, and to be honest it’s such a pleasant walk I preferred having to wander back to the car. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, I’d honestly come back to Český Krumlov just to stay here again!

Everyone at Areka was wonderful, the room was great - clean & comfortable bed, the view of the town from our windows was amazing and the breakfast had a variety of options. The option to park right by the accommodation was just what we were looking for during our road trip of Czechia. If we ever come back to Česky Krumlov we will definitely come back here.
