I visited Banyan Tree for a healthful long-weekend retreat. The Sunrise Yoga and other yoga classes were wonderful, and the spa services exceptional. The staff are simply outstanding! Loved the healthy juices and the comprehensive breakfast buffet. Fantastic views of the sea.

It is more a family hotel; most of the guests came with their kids. Food was good, particularly the buffet option. Their staff was very kind and helpful. The massage facility was excellent.

Boasting cosy and bright-coloured living space, Cassia Bintan, part of Banyan Group is located in Lagoi, 44 km from Desaru. Staff was very kindful and helpful. Thank to Ms Tasia for her cares, make us stay like home Thank you so much.

Boasting a private beach area, Pantai Indah Lagoi Bintan is located in Lagoi, northern of Bintan Island. The property offers villas with air-conditioned bedrooms and private pools. We had breakfast in the villa as well as in the restaurant Legenda. Wonderful breakfast spread.

Angsana Bintan is nestled along a private beach on Tanjong Said Bay overlooking South China Sea. It offers water sports facilities at its marine centre. Great hotel in Bintan resorts, our room was located right near the beach. The are 3 hotels on the beach, we used the facilities of Cassia and Banyan tree also. Room was clean, large, breakfast was good, for lunch and dinner we used Vista in Cassia where we also played table tennis, football and pool billiard during waiting for our order.

The little cottages on the beach are delightful. I loved waking up each morning and sitting outside on the comfy chairs for my coffee with the sounds of the waves and the spectacular view of the beach.

It was exceptional, a beautiful well-appointed villa in a gorgeous location. The villa was really spacious with three indoor & one outdoor bathrooms. It was extremely clean and plenty of towels were provided. The infinity pool afforded a great view over the bay and there were plenty of seating options provided. The villas sit within the wider Norway’s Gardens resort, which is actually made up of five separate properties, so we could choose to eat at any of the resort’s restaurants. The food was good, mainly what you’d expect at a resort (buffet breakfast, sandwiches & salads for lunch) but there were plenty of Indonesian options and the Spice restaurant (Indian) was delicious. We loved the over-water bar & its cocktail selection & friendly bartender. A golf buggy is provided for the villa which was really handy (it would be a lot of walking if you didn’t have it) and which my late-teenage boys loved. There was a huge range of activities if you wanted to be active - we jet-skied, played ten pin bowling, did archery and target shooting, released baby endangered Hawksbill turtles. The resort is set in lush jungle and gardens and we enjoyed views of the wildlife (monkeys, bats, squirrels & butterflies). The villas exceeded our expectations and we will definitely stay here again.
