This is an amazing guesthouse in the middle of the mountains, with incredibly welcoming hosts who make you breakfast, lunch and dinner if you ask, all very tasty and made of local products (warn them if you don't eat too much, we could never eat all!). They have animals around, there are flowers and the view of the valley is amazing. There are various options of small and medium hikes. You can have your dinner outdoor with a view and generally enjoy the nature.

I also asked for dinner and breakfast not included in the price of the room but trust me it's worth it. The price of the meals was overall cheap. Mary and her family were the kindest and most welcoming hosts we could wish for. Right upon our arrival they offered us tea and refreshments and gave us various tips on what to see in the area.Their homemade dinners and breakfasts (served at a terrace with wonderful views) are huge and simply delicious, absolutely perfect after a whole day spent in the mountains around Haghpat. The room itself is very light and spacious, located in a house in the middle of a rural vegetable garden a few hundred meters from the monastery. In spite of our very poor knowledge of Russian, Mary's parents were always very friendly and open to talk with and fully accommodated all our wishes. We'll be very happy to come again if ever back in Armenia. Thank you! <3

Mary's house is charming, surrounded by trees and plants and with a very nice view over the valley. Mary and her family are very welcoming and caring. The dinner she cooked with her mother for us was delicious as well as the breakfast with armenian specialties and everything homemade. She was very helpfull and manage to find us a taxi driver to visit the whole debed valley and monasteries. Thank you a lot Mary :)

Our stay at the aghasu tun b and b ended up being one of our favorite parts of Armenia. Amalia (sp?) was a lovely host who not only was a great chef but it was very nice to get to know her and share our love of music together. There is a communal area where we got to spend the evening with other guests who were also very lovely and showered us as well with Armenian hospitality. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. Surrounding area is very beautiful (don't miss Lori fortress). Amalias garden is also really cool!
