We had booked a short stay with the Alexander Guesthouse on our way back and we received a really warm welcome and a room upgrade! I should note that our upgraded room was actually at the Alexander Hotel (not the guesthouse) and we were even allowed to check in early. Notes: - staff was super polite and made us feel really at home - a very cosy experience overall. - modernly furnished room, big comfy bed, nice bathroom. Not very spacious but not too small either. Very clean. - complimentary coffee, filtered water and fruit at each floor - complimentary access to the Zurich Zoo (upon availability) - this was actually the highlight of our experience. - location is excellent, right at the heart of the old town, very close to the main station too. Despite the location, the room was very quiet. - great value given the hotel rates in Zurich. I recommend this place and would book again if I return to Zurich.

The traditional and rather quiet property gave us an amazing stay in Switzerland. The breakfast was of very high quality, the staff was very friendly and open to requests like checking in earlier than planned and showed us around the facilities. Even though we had a quite short stay, we are definitely sure we will be coming back.

Just a 6-minute walk from the Zurich Main Train Station Gasthaus 210 offers en-suite rooms with a microwave, a kettle and a flat-screen TV.

Stylish and really clean! I felt like I was in a posh hotel. The bathrooms were sparkling and modern! Also they gave me a complimentary drink which was kind. Great vibe in there and the staff are so friendly. Right opposite one of the train stations too so the location was great, it was also super warm and cosy in the room

My staying in Josephine's Guesthouse has exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious, clean and warm, and the bed was very comfy. Amazing view from the top floor. The hotel is in a great location: 10 min walk from Zurich HB train station and 5 minutes from the old town. The breakfast is enough and there is a fully equipped kitchen (very clean!) which can be used by the hosts to cook your own meal and/or cakes. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful (thank you, Laura! :) ). They really care about their clients well being. Indeed I arrived at 11 am and I had to work. Even if my room was not ready yet (the checking was supposed to be at 3pm), the staff has satisfied my needs, allowing me to work from the top floor and prioritizing my request to get the room ready. You can arrive at any time (even late evening/night) in the hotel to do the checking, because they have the possibility to leave the room key in a secure locker. Same thing for the checkout, you can leave the key in the secure locker before leaving (if there is no person in the front desk). Highly recommend to stay here and I would certainly go back.
