Everything was amazing ! The location in a local area (and not a touristic zone) and close to the Macau beach. The confort and the cleanness. The breakfast prepared by Angelica was delicious! And Jorge is the most welcoming host in earth !! He make us to feel like home !! It is the best place we've stayed during our trip to Dominican Republic !!

Absolutely fantastic. The room was more like a spacious apartment and the location is great, a few steps from the beach and close to many shops. The hotel has a great restaurant, the breakfast is amazing with many options and the owner offers a discount to hotel guests for other meals. Very yummy food with vegan options and even live music in a great environment. Very caring staff, fully recommended!

Location is perfect and the owner Boris is super helpful and kind. The room is very cozy with a nice balcony and kitchen. Highly recommend ArtHostal for people that don't want to spend a Fortune on luxury resorts.

At first I booked a room just for one night but ended up staying 5 nights. The hotel has a great family vibe and it's just 3min away from the beach. Dominga and the rest of the staff were amazing. I liked the fact that guests have access to a kitchen where they can prepare a sandwich or even use the stove or the oven to cook. After you return from the beach or from dinner you can soak in the swimming pool for a little while before going to bed. Though I've only used it once due to stormy weather during my stay. TV with Netflix is a nice bonus. My favorite restaurant in Punta Cana is right downstairs, it's called Bohio. There is also a pizza place across the street and a supermarket which only accepts cash payments but there's is an ATM right outside.
