Nice location, our room was large and the hideaway was a perfect spot of a mini get away. Enjoyed the breakfast each morning with the lake view. Staff was really lovely. Appreciated their green policy and took advantage of not taking housekeeping for a drink. Having parking onsite was a nice surprise although the parking spaces are tight but that’s understandable. Beautiful hydrangeas on the walk path up to the lakehouse.

In the Lake District, Ambleside Central is a tall Victorian building, offering room-only accommodation with period features over three floors. Please bare in mind that there is no lift/elevator.
