The owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious every morning and offered plenty of variety. The hotel is not located in the main street, making it quiet at night. From the hotel, you can easily walk into a beautiful area (Rothay Park).

There was plenty of parking space. The room was rather small, but it was very comfortable. The bathroom was also tiny but functional and with an excellent shower. Good quiet location, close to the village centre.

Amazing hotel, highly recommend

In the Lake District, Ambleside Central is a tall Victorian building, offering room-only accommodation with period features over three floors. Please bare in mind that there is no lift/elevator.
