I recently stayed at Beaches Guest House and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were impeccably clean, with a level of care that truly stands out. They also provided lovely toiletries, which was a thoughtful touch. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe here; the guest house has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that put me at ease from the moment I arrived. The location is another highlight, conveniently situated close to the beach and local amenities, making it easy to explore the area without hassle. The owner was exceptionally friendly and went out of her way to ensure a pleasant stay, offering local tips and genuinely attentive service. Beaches Guest House is a true gem, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a welcoming environment.

A beautiful old house decorated exquisitely. Although I was travelling solo, I was given a family room which was huge with plenty of space. Room was spotless and the view was lovely from the back window. Bed was comfy. Although the guest house is on a busy road, the rooms are out the back and you don't hear the traffic. Congratulations to the owners on such a beautiful house and furnishings. Highly recommended

The perfect place to stay! We were warmly welcomed as soon as we rang the bell, by both Liz and Douglas. We arrived to find a gift from a previous guest left on the doorstep, which I took as a very good sign! The house is immaculate, it’s cosy and quiet, it even smells wonderful. We were given an option of 2 rooms and Douglas got us set up in the one we picked, even bringing our luggage up. The rooms are well set up with lovely beds, good internet, a nice tv and a great shower. And all the pillows you could ever need. Breakfast was excellent, and there was a pretty wide selection of choices. The house is right next door to a fab restaurant, and it’s not a far walk to other good food options and the rest of town. A ten minute walk finds you at the beach.
