We were greeted upon arrival and shown to our rooms by Charlene (hotel owner), such a lovely woman. We were offered an upgrade, but chose to stay in the room we’d originally booked as it had a balcony. The decorations in the rooms were absolutely stunning. The rooms are so snug and beautiful. It’s so different and quirky, totally my cup of tea. The beds are 10/10 for comfort, you literally sink into the mattress. The Gin Lounge is located below the rooms and it is amazing. I can’t remember the bar owners name but they were so helpful to my partner who’s not a gin drinker choosing flavours etc.. put it this way.. he is now!! There’s some games like dominoes or a poker set you can play. Music was chilled also. Again the decoration is just out of this world. I love how they’ve used stuff like a sewing table for furniture and the gorgeous, comfortable seats and pillows. Few snug blankets scattered around as well. Honestly it’s just amazing. It gives Harry Potter vibes to me (if you’re a fan and you go, you’ll get what I mean!). There’s a variety of different gins to choose from (over 300 im sure of!) So if you’re a gin lover, love quirkiness and love relaxing then get yourself booked here. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay, I’m 100% coming back and I can not wait!!! 100% recommend & 5*s all around! Xx

Really friendly hosts who genuinely care about making sure you are comfortable. Tea and biscuits served in the lounge room made it more homely. Other guests- mainly walkers doing Pennine way, were friendly and sociable. Excellent food.
