The property suggested a nearby car park, which we were able to find easily (though the pay machines were a bit dodgy with international credit cards) and it was only a short stroll to the house. Instructions to get in were fairly strait forward. The rooms were as described - a good sized queen and separate single with adjoining bathroom. I'm sad I didn't get to try out the awesome bath but the double shower was great! The location is excellent, with a short stroll to many eateries and the main shops etc. Mini bar fridge was appreciated.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels.

We stayed in the cottage on the property and it was fabulous very modern and cosy.It was spotlessly clean,bathroom had spa bath and walk in shower and a lovely lounge area upstairs.Great location and plenty of parking space available.Hosts were very friendly and accomadating. I would highly recommend to stay here.

Newly decorated room. A nice place to stay in Bowness. The location is the best for going arround. Quiet but easy to reach the lake, bus station, restaurants, shops and the railway station. Recommend it!

Location is excellent Breakfast exceeded expectations, there was even a Beatrix Potter rabbit imprint in the toast! Enjoyed their dog that came to the room for a visit too :)

The accommodation was pretty well located; a wonderful Victorian house, perfectly maintained, with nice interior decoration. The heating system was adjusted at the right point, all the time. On top of the property features, the host's attention was the highest and most remarkable aspect of our staying. They took good care of us, being available and willing to help us at any moment.

Located just a short walk from the vibrant centre of Bowness-on-Windermere, Lingwood Lodge offers the perfect base to explore the Lake District.

Fantastic stay, lovely room and it had a living room with a TV, couch and mini fridge. We were delighted with our room too, very spacious and clean! Super comfy double bed.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning.
