The bed was amazing! The house was clean from too to bottom! The hostess there was so nice and friendly. She went above and beyond in everything. Breakfast was truly great! If I ever go back to Scotland this will be a must to come back to and stay. Truly we both did not want to leave!

What a great stay! The fact that pizza’s were prepared especially for us was very kind. We were picked up and dropped off the next day by Stevie. His tips were excellent. It saved us from hiking a very wet trail.

Close to both Kingussie Golf Club and Ruthven Barracks, Avondale House is situated in Kingussie and has spa facilities and garden.

This place was wonderful ! I booked there a few weeks prior to going there in September, taking the cheapest room they had (which was cheaper than most places in Aviemore when I booked), and it was amazing ! Super clean, the rooms are in an authentic Scottish house decorated with taste, with a very cozy lounge and a breakfast area bathed in sunlight in the morning. The breakfast themselves, included in the price were very very good and very filling ! :D The room I booked itself was nice even though it was cheaper, and the bed was very comfortable. The place is only 15 mins away on foot from the train station, and 20-ish minutes on foot away from natural reserves to go on lovely hikes. Highly recommended, thank you again to Scott & Helena for their kindness and hospitality !

One of the best places we've ever stayed in. The hosts are gracious and helpful, breakfast is rich and tasty. Facilities are great (there's a drying room and a fridge in the common area). The room was quiet and super clean, the bed was comfy. We were sorry to leave.

Our family stayed with Kev and Kirsty for two nights and though we arrived in the middle of the night, we immediately felt safe and welcomed in their beautiful little b&b, in which they put so much care and love. We loved starting our day with eggs from the chickens outside of our window and need to come back to try all their amazing breakfast options. two of our family members celebrated their birthdays during the stay and Kirsty and Kev made us feel like extended family. we are very happy to come back whenever our way will guide us back to Scotland! thanks a lot !!!
