We slept 2 nights. The fact that in the middle of the day the owner remade our beds and cleaned the room made me so happy!!!. It wasn't needed at all but the surprise of coming back in a clean room with fresh beds was so nice!!!!! Really thank you so much if I'm ever going to Iceland again I'm sure to stay here! Thank you so much for the hospitality.

Area was beautiful, the house was lovely and so nicely decorated. The outdoor area especially was really nice and the kitchen large and very well equipped!

We stayed in the smaller house, which offered just a few rooms and two shared bathrooms. Our room, like the entire house, felt warm and cozy. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a kind host who clearly explained everything about our stay. Guests can enjoy complimentary hot drinks at any time—a thoughtful touch that we took advantage of more than once. We decided not to add breakfast, as it didn’t seem particularly special. The main building featured additional amenities such as a pool table and a TV, providing plenty of options for relaxation. Best of all, the location is ideal for experiencing the Northern Lights.

The host was extremely friendly, and allowed us to check-in earlier by three hours. We were also allowed a later check-out, in order to accommodate our schedule for the next destination. This was extremely helpful. The property is very neat and clean, and we were able to visit the goats every day. We were very happy with the choice of staying here.

A cozy guest house, our best stay in Iceland! Véronique is super friendly and welcoming. We felt like we were at home. The facility is very very clean and equipped with everything we need. Beds are comfortable, the shower and the toilet are also very clean. Slightly out of the busy area made it easy to see the northern lights. All that for a very affordable price.

Wow, this surpassed my expectations. Even though the sky was cloudy, the view was magnificent. There is plenty of space here, for sitting, cooking, showering. Host left enough towels so I can dry my hair and the hair dryer was powerful, most hotel hairdryers are crappy but this one was salon level. It was nice to have more space from the places I had been! The washer and dryer worked the best! The kitchen was absolutely great with a microwave, stove and oven. There is complementary coffee from a DeLonghi machine that guests can use. Véronique even helped with my luggage. I come to Iceland annually and will definitely stay here again.

This is a last minute vacation booking for my family. I was somewhat concerned of the location. But since I had a car booked anyhow, so I went along. It turned out to be a superb experience. First, our flight arrived earlier than scheduled at early morning. The host (Johanna & Stefan) were super nice, allowed us to check in early!!! We got in the apartment at 9 AM, everybody crushed in bed for several hours, which was so nice and much appreciated!!! Second, the apartment is very neat, clean, and well decorated. The beds are very comfortable (I am very picky with bed, this is home quality). Third, there is a lighthouse about 5km east of the property. We drove there around 11pm ish, which was quite dark all around to allow us to see the northern light, aurora borealis!!!
