Best hotel during our stay in Iceland. The pictures don't do it justice because everything is much better in reality. The rooms are big, the kitchen is well stocked with an oven, stove-top, coffee machine, water heater and dishwasher (expect for salt, pepper and oil which you have to get yourself) and the private washing room has a washing machine and a dryer. The included breakfast was delicious and the dining area very beautifully decorated. A grocery store selling all the essentials is right across the road.

Our holiday was incredibly enjoyable, especially thanks to our stay in this lovely and quaint house (the bed were so soft and comfortable), and the breakfast that was offered by our host was delicious The host Helgi was very kind and hospitable and we spent two interstellar evenings just chatting in the bar. iIf we’ll ever go back to Selfoss, we’ll definitely know where to stay!
