Easy check-in, quick wapp response to question. Very new building, so everything still nice and new. Room was of a good size, everything was very clean. Comfortable beds, great shower. Room has outside door which leads onto a patio. Nice views outside of the mountains and also some horses nearby. Very big and clean shared kitchen area, that also includes a sitting area with couches. Great location, very near Gullfoss waterfall. We did not use the kitchen for dinner, only for breakfast, and it had everything we needed. We were the only guests which made for a lovely quiet stay.

Such a wonderful stay. The house has everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen, little areas to sit and read and relax, nice and comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms. It really feels like you are coming ‘home’. The kids enjoyed it a lot as well!!

We had a wonderful stay at Gaulverjaskoli. Magnea and Greg are very warm hosts and have created a charming place to stay. The rooms are very cozy and clean and have everything you need. The shared kitchen and the charming winter garden were also great. It was a wonderful place to linger and chat with the other guests. The kitchen itself is well equipped for cooking. Magnea and Greg had very good recommendations for activities in the area and selfoss was a great base for horse riding, driving to the golden circle and hiking to hot springs. We can highly recommend this accommodation.

The apartment was incredibly spacious and comfortable, good location, accross the street from a big supermarket, next to a bakery shop and a fee minutes walk to the food hall. I liked the fact we had our own laundry in the apartment.
