The best hostel run by a super adorable, friendly and helpful couple who will do everything to accommodate you (we were given handwarmers on a colder day for free for example). It is perfectly positioned super near to the Fujiyoshida/Mt- Fuji Station with conbinis etc nearby. The whole hostel is extremely cleanly and lovingly decorated (the owners seem to like Totoro a lot). Free coffee available too. We even got a parting gift with chopsticks and a picture from our stay to take home!

The staff is fantastic. It’s run by an old couple who speak English and went out of their way to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The onsen is beautiful and the breakfast absolutely delicious.

AMAZING! What really made our stay special were the owners. The couple is incredibly kind and helpful. They communicate fluently using a translation machine into English (or another language of your choice), which worked perfectly! The house was very clean, and their enthusiasm for Mount Fuji is contagious. The location is excellent: close to a huge supermarket with both Western and local products. Truly a fantastic supermarket! Also within walking distance are an Alfamart, bike rental, and the lake. On our last evening, we wanted to have a BBQ in the front yard, and the owners arranged it for us. They even joined us for a while, and we had a great time laughing and enjoying each other's company. The owner has a great sense of humor and we felt right at home. These people have hearts of gold and the location is fantastic! Highly recommended. Thank you for everything. We wanted to stay longer, but unfortunately, it was fully booked.
