best hostel I’ve stayed so far! it’s beautiful, has a big fully equipped kitchen. The location is perfect, near the station and the park. It is a more relaxed and calm place so there’s not much crazy social activity, if you’re loooking for some peace this is your place :)

Very comfortable, spacious room. Exceptional host. He is so friendly and recommended an amazing sushi restaurant. You can tell he really takes pride in his ryokan. The common area was lovely to spend time in and it was no issue storing our bags. The location is also easy to get to by bus from the JR station and it's a short walk to the main Nara sights (or you can rent his bikes for cheap). So welcoming and comfy. 10/10 recommend.

This was by far my favourite stay of my Japan trip. Not only was the guest house absolutely stunning and tastefully furnished, within very close proximity to the deer park, I was welcomed so warmly and it really felt like home for the night I was there.
