Ashan and his family went way beyond expectations to make this stay magical. sri lankan breakfast every day where they cook delicious local dishes for us to try. the house is so beautiful, quiet, homey. the surroundings are super peaceful yet not too far from the beach. We rented a car so this was perfect. if you don't have a car, maybe a bit annoying to have to call tuk tuks all the time. The yoga place nearby is amazing. the nature around is beautiful, this stay could not have been better. I was working from the house and the wifi was very strong, and there was a table with a chair in the room so it was also easy to work.

Very friendly and attentive host family! The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and spacious. The pool is very clean as well. We stayed for ten nights and really felt at home.

Everything was perfect! The location is right on the beach, the host is very friendly and helpful and the food is amaizing. Also, there are a lot of restaurants and bars on the beach nearby. I totally recommend this place.

Best host of Sri Lanka easily. He really wanted us to have good time as well as organized a taxi to airport. Was amazing to fall asleep listening sounds of the waves. And to add, pressure of the shower was best we have had. Food too was very tasty!

Lady of the house Aroshina, her husband anf their 2 kids make you feel like home. The design makes you feel like in an exotic country (which Sri Lanka is:)) and the distance to the Fort and downtown of Galle is 15 min walk. The neighborhood is very calm and clean. The room itself is a heaven: original design, the bed is the biggest and the most comfortable we have had in 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. Especially, we appreciated the air-conditioning in the room, which allowed us to spend 2 awesome silent and cool nights. The hosts were there for us whenever needed, and what we especially appreciated were the tuktuk pick up and drop off as we were travelling by public transport in this part of Sri Lanka. Briefly: IF POSSIBLE, WE WOULD SCORE 11 and not “only” 10.

The breakfast, even if basic, was among the best on the island and according to our preference (e.g. eggs). Also the host waited for us every night to open the door for parking the car and offered us all the help we ever needed, like washing clothes fast and nice at a very low price. The host was more than hospitable.
