The best stay in Maskeliya. If you are visiting Maskeliya don't even think of booking any other property. The rooms have a great lake and Adam's Peak view. You can spend endless time watching the lake. The staff is humble. Food was good and homemade, however price needs adjustment. Ample space for parking.

Best room so far we had in Sri Lanka. Everything was very clean and the location was great. We were sad we had to leave after one night. Room looks better live than on the pictures. Location was great, very close to the entrance for Adams Peak (5min walk). The food was also really good. Everything was prepared fresh, so be patient while waiting🙏🏽 Hosts were very helpful and friendly.

This has been one of our favourite places to stay! It was so clean and so comfortable. The location was great - It was walking distance from the train station (up a hill, but we didn't mind that - you could get a tuktuk otherwise), and town (literally a few min walk down the hill to the shops), and there was a great restaurant opposite too. There is a beautiful garden which has amazing views overlooking the hills - we loved sitting out and just chilling in the garden. The rooms were large, spotless and really comfortable. We slept very well. There's also free tea, coffee, biscuits and drinking water, and full use of the kitchen. The host was really helpful too - he put us in touch with a tuktuk driver so we could get to Adams peak to hike it for sunrise. Overall, we loved staying here and would definitely stay again.

In a central area of Adams Peak, Vegetable Garden House features sea views from the patio. The property has mountain and lake views, and is less than 1 km from Adam's Peak.

This accommodation has a great location and is exceptionally clean. The owner was very helpful with arranging a tuk-tuk and booking train tickets, which made our travel experience smoother. I highly recommend having dinner here—the curry was some of the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka! The breakfast was also excellent, and they prepared a breakfast package for us when we left, making the train journey to Ella even better. I would recommend this place to anyone!

It was my boyfriend’s birthday and the owner organise the cake pick up and everything. It was such a kind gesture ! Room was big and clean, sounds of the river and birds were amazing ! You do not need any AC here as it gets a bit colder at night. It is also nice to be very close from the starting point of the hike.
