Great accommodation! It’s brand new, they just opened a few weeks ago. The owners are incredibly friendly and very helpful overall. Breakfast is very nice with a lot of fresh fruit. Great location, very very close to the beach. The room was impeccable, so clean.. spacious and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here! They will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable! Thank you for taking such good care of us!

The rooms are new and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay. The beautiful outdoor terrace is the ideal place to enjoy breakfast, and I highly recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast, it was truly delicious! The owners are incredibly kind and attentive to their guests. On a magical full moon night, they invited us to the beach to witness a turtle laying its eggs,an exciting and unforgettable experience.

I had the perfect stay at Mango House. It's a lovely house tucked behind the road into Talalla with a pretty garden & lovely seating area. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom, nice bedding & a good mosquito net. It was especially nice to have a desk & chair. Breakfasts were delicious & an extra treat to watch the monkeys on their daily route to the roof tops. The family were so kind and accommodated my early rising for yoga with delicious juices : ) and I met some other lovely guests. They truly made us feel at home and very welcome. I was sorry I'd not discovered dinner was possible until my last night - my friend and I were served a delicious selection of curries. Such a pleasure to meet this lovely family & to share their home. They really cared that you had a good stay. The beach is just a short walk away & great shop nearby too. Great value and a warm welcome for the budget traveller.

Because we love this place so much we returned for 3 more nights after our yoga-retreat. Immediately we felt like home again. The room has everything we need and is always very clean. The hospitality and awareness of this family is just incredible. Anu remembered our favourite dishes and every day we got a different one for dinner. Same with the breakfast. At the end they even got up in the middle of the night to give us a warm goodbye and a breakfast-parcel that we didn‘t stay hungry at the airport.

The very quiet Gardens, the lovely breakfasts, beautiful empty beach, lovely pool and courteous attentive staff. We had a gorgeous room with an out door,roll top bath. If you're looking for a quiet beach, this will hit the spot. The waves are strong so probably best for confident swimmers though you won't have to be an Olympian! The main house is also gorgeous with an airy colonial vibe. Evening meals can be taken at the beach restaurant over the road ( not a busy road). The place is gated with a 24hour watch for the security minded. Various swings, hammocks and board games dotted around. Peacocks, bee-eaters, monitor lizards and chipmunks abound. Heard a Coppersmith Barbet but didn't see it. Fruit bats fly over at sunset. Heaven!

The villa was so beautiful! The pool was next to the beach. The rooms were super clean. Jermy and house staff did everything to make this place like home. Moet wonderfull stay of our trip in Sri Lanka. Very recommended!!

Lovely, clean room, within walking distance of a couple of beaches and the main stretch. Very hospitable and helpful family who made us superb welcome drinks and pancakes upon our departure. We actually stayed there twice. Would recommend 👌
