We had a wonderful stay at Said Maxsum Guesthouse. The place is cosy and welcoming, and the family running it took good care of us. Breakfast was generous and delicious—more than enough to start the day. Located in a quiet part of the old town, it offered a peaceful atmosphere. Our twin room had a beautiful view of the Islam Khoja Minaret. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the charm of Khiva.

They allowed an early check in and also gave me breakfast. They also got me fruit the next day as I didn't want bread. Room was super cosy with its own bathroom. The location was the best. Just outside the east gate. The host was so accommodating. They even dropped me off the station. I introduced the host to matcha tea powder, if anyone stays here, please take her some.

The location was great, inside Itchan Kala but in an area not so crowded. The house was beautiful and spacious. The room was clean and fully equipped with AC, a comfortable bed and a private bathroom. The family was friendly and helpful and breakfast was good.

It’s the most comfortable accommodation we had in Uzbekistan and the breakfast was really good and various. The owner is lovely who always tries to help. We were able to check in when we arrived at 8am, which was amazing and made us so happy! He organised a trip to the fortresses for us, and we then got dropped off at Urgench train station. The place is less than 10min walk from the old town and less than 10 min walk from the train station.
