The proper was in a really good location and the views were beautiful. But the best part was the staff. The main owner was so friendly and kind. He made sure we had everything we needed and also packed us a lunch for the hike. We are really thankful for his hospitality and kindness!

The food was some of the best I’ve had in Albania. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. They were incredibly helpful, especially guiding me through the logistics for the Valbonë to Theth hike, which I had planned for the next morning. And the view from the terrace? Unbelievable! Surrounded by stunning mountains, it was incredibly serene. I genuinely regret not booking a longer stay. I’ll absolutely be coming back – next time for more than just one night. Starting from the hosts who were extremely kind, they made sure that we were content and confortable. They were very friendly and generous at anytime. The room was very clean, the view was spectacular, above all the breakfast was absolutely amazing. It had a variety of traditional Albanian food, everything was fresh. It is very cosy and better then what I expected. I felt like a king. Thanks a lot to the family, I will come here anytime when near Valbona ! Truly exceptionnal. It is a 10++++ !

Lovely coffee :) Great localisation - when you walk from Theth to Valbona you can find Hysa at the very beginning of Valbona village :)
