This is the nicest place I've stayed in since I've been in Austria. It is located nestled down beside a river about a 10 minute walk from the lake. The location is ideal if you wish to walk up to the top of Schafberg as the route starts nearby or even to get the funicular which runs close by. The room was very big and had a beautiful balcony that sat next to the stream that ran a little below. The views are also incredible, a must stay place.

Hotel is located in beautiful nature next to the lake. I could imagine it’s also very nice during summer.

Located in the centre of Sankt Gilgen, Hotel-Pension Falkensteiner is 250 metres from the Zwölferhorn Cable Car and 400 metres from Lake Wolfgang. The room was very comfortable and especially the heated floors in the bathroom. Lots of space and very clean. The carpets comfortable. Lots of light in the room, it was an excellent breakfast lots of choices

Great place to stay. Convenient to the 3 towns by the Wolfgangsee and the mountains.

The apartment had absolutely everything that we could've wanted. Extremely well furnished with beautiful crockery, great views. Host very friendly and responsive, accommodating to our requests also. In the summer there are many insects, but one of the windows had an insect screen so we could still enjoy the breeze without getting bitten - this is the kind of attention to detail you can expect from this place! Extremely affordable for such a lovely apartment. Access to bus 150 (direct to Salzburg/ Bad Ischl) from the main road is convenient. As this property is located within Salzburg province, we had the guest mobility ticket for free public transport within Salzburg.

Βρίσκεται σε St. This property is fantastically located in St Wolfgang with amazing views over the lake and mountains. We spent much time watching the world go by and the weather rolling in over the mountains, a truly spectacular sight. We could also hear the live music playing in the square from our balcony on the special event nights, it was really lovely to hear the traditional music and enjoy the view! There is so much to see and do locally, and this was the perfect base for us to enjoy exploring the area. It really helped to have a parking space for our hire car too, as parking in St Wolfgang can be tricky. The private lake access and garden that comes with the apartment was a real treat too! A perfect place to sunbathe, enjoy a picnic, see the swans and ducks, and take a swim. The hosts Elisabeth and Andreas could not have been more helpful and kind. They made us feel so welcome.
