Situated within easy walking distance of many of the city's tourist sites and the central mall. There was a lovely bakery right outside where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. It is also 20 metres or so from the first hop-on hop-off bus stop. Staff were friendly and helpful, and very apologetic about the noise created by jackhammer work being done on the footpath during our first night's stay.

Surrounded by a large garden with an outdoor pool and barbecue facilities, Gartenpension Prosl enjoys a quiet and green location in the Donaustadt district, 30 minutes by public transport from Vienna’s city centre. Free WiFi is available. The garden is like a small paradise, the swimming pool was the bonus for the kids. The house is more than comfortable. The landlords have set every little detail within the house. Quick and fast internet, several plugins all over the house to charge phone and laptops. Large rooms with large and comfortable beds. A nice and big kitchen. My kids were very happy with this house. It was my first time in Vienna but I will probably go again just to stay in this house.

Many cafés, bars and restaurants are within walking distance. The guesthouse’s next door neighbour is Café Ritter, a traditional Old Viennese coffee house. All was wonderful. We travelled in family and although we arrived more than 1.5hours after the appointment, Tina was fabulous. She always is ready to help planning your trip. We were provided with maps and recommendations. Tina has her guesthouse clean, and it is a nice place to spend some days. It is close to the center ant well communicated with metro, tramvia and buses. The bathroom was clean, ordered and calm (although just in front of the window there is a bus station). In general it has a good balance between quality and pricew. 100% recommended.

Partly renovated in 2016, the rooms have a private bathroom, a telephone and a basic work desk. They do not feature a TV or a radio, and thus contribute to the property's peaceful ambience. WiFi is available in the building. The location of the guesthouse cannot be beat, especially if you are staying for the Christmas Markets. There is one just outside the door- and most of the others are within a 5-minute walk from the guesthouse. The building is beautiful and well-maintained, and the breakfast is really great with varieties of olives, cheeses, breads, pastries, yogurts, fruits, etc. The staff were lovely.
