The room was very spacious, clean and new. The pousada is located close to the entrance of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, so it’s perfect for participating in tours. The quality of the daily breakfast was good. The best part of my stay was the host Carla. She was the sweetest person, took care of everything (organizing tours, ordering food, etc.) for me and spoke English really well.

Very happy that I stayed here. Asked the hotel via WhatsApp about airport transfers and tours and gave them my flight arrival and departure times/dates etc and the hotel replied within 1-2 hours with a plan and options which we then agreed on. The hotel arranged a private transfer to pick me up from Sao Luis airport upon my arrival at 1.30am for the roughly 4 hour drive to the hotel! The driver Marcelo was polite & reliable and drove safely - he WhatsApp me a photo of himself and the exact spot he would wait for me i.e. outside Subway and he was already there when I arrived at the airport and we left for the hotel in Barreirinhas straight away. The vehicle was comfortable. For the airport transfer back, the hotel arranged a shared van ride since there were other passengers also so it was much cheaper and the seat was comfy. The day tour to the 2 Lagoas/lagoons was good and the price was reasonable. Having breakfast with a view of the river was great. The room was clean, comfortable and new (just renovated?). The hotel was walking distance (about 1km or 20min walk) to the town center with its restaurants by the river (the river made a u-bend from the hotel) and there was a big supermarket along the way. The staff could not speak English but used a translator. Definitely recommend this hotel especially if you cannot speak Portuguese and you want a reliable & efficient/effective hotel to arrange pickups/transfers and tours.

Pousada rancho sol nascente ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado en Tutóia. Hay terraza, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. It has great vibes surrounded by nature in a cozy place managed directly by the owners. Great breakfast and excellent value, the best in our vacation in this area of Brazil, highly recommended and literally on the beach… if coming back to this area I would like to stay again in this place.

POUSADA ROSA DOS LENÇÓIS, que está a 16 min a pie de Muelle y a 1,7 km de Ayuntamiento, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño privado en Barreirinhas. Anfitriona Claúdia súper amable, ayudable y divertida. Si siente como en casa. Dpto bien equipado y central (súper y lomiterías al lado), café riquisimo, agua caliente, cama comfortable, wifi excelente, a 10 mins en taxi del aeropuerto

Pousada Mineira está en Barreirinhas, en la región de Marañón, a 10 km de Iglesia de Barreirinhas. Everything! Sr Gilberto e Dona Silvana are wonderful, nothing is too much or too little for them, always happy to help and look after us, they arranged all our tours , the pousada is simple but clean and with a lovely breakfast before going out to the tours. I highly recommend this place and would definitely came back again. Obrigada Gilberto e Silvana.

Sky Atins Rooftop se encuentra en Atins, a 4 min a pie de Praia do Atins, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. Amazing and beautiful decor. Staff were lovely and so helpful. We had the most magical days. 100% recommend. Its good value for money as it feels very exclusive.

Atins Suites se encuentra en Atins, a 2 min a pie de Praia do Atins, y dispone de terraza, habitaciones libres de humo y wifi gratis. El hostal o pensión tiene habitaciones familiares. Excelente ubicacion a 1 calle de la playa donde están las kite schools y los beach clubs y a pocos metros (8 minutos) del centro. Limpieza y desayuno excelente (lo sirven entre 7 y 9am). Incluso nos dejaron el desayuno en la nevera de nuestra habitacion el día que salia nuestro ferry a las 7am. Adriele, la chica que se encarga del desayuno y de la limpieza, es magnifica, super agradable, simpatica, con muy buena energía y atención al detalle.
