And the location was walking distance to most in-town things.

Built in 1586, the Gasthof zur Waag in Bad Zurzach is located close to the Rhine River, on the edge of the Black Forest. A historic hotel with adjoining brasserie, bar, smokers lounge and seminar rooms. The highlight is the inner courtyard with a Mediterranean flair. This was a lovely hotel in an old building with a beautiful courtyard. Our room was quite comfortable. Our hosts and all staff were so accommodating and helpful and the food was exceptional for dinner and breakfast! It was close to the train station to take a day trip to Zurich. I just wish we could have stayed longer.
