It was such a perfect one night stay and the most comfortable sleep we had in more than 10 days in the Amazon. The breakfast was great and the hosts were so friendly and helpful! We hope to return!

Awesome view of the Amazon from the top balcony! Very comfortable beds and, great breakfast, and on the edge of town with parrots and monkeys occasionally visiting. Israel was a lovely host. We extended and doubled our days here it was so comfortable. There's even a cold/hot potable water dispenser!

Το Hotel " TATÜANE " βρίσκεται σε Puerto Nariño και διαθέτει κήπο και βεράντα. Our stay here with Leo and his wife, Elizabeth, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are comfortable and the hammocks are a great way to unwind after a long day. Leo took us on amazing adventures and when conflicts with scheduling happened, he saw to it that we were well taken care of. He speaks some English and we speak some Spanish, but it was only a small obstacle and it didn’t take away from the tours. Leo is incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the area and Elizabeth is an amazing cook. It felt like they had included us as family during our stay. Thank you for taking such great care of us during our adventure. We would recommend this stay to anyone.

My stay was amazing. The lodge is immersed in the Amazon forest. The location was ideal as it is easily accessible by bus from Leticia. Mario and Joana welcomed me and were always around in case I needed anything. Joana helped me organize activities around the Amazon and even helped me plan the rest of my trip to Iquitos. She arranged breakfast earlier than planned when I needed to leave early and prepared a small desert for me when I arrived. I truly felt welcomed and loved my stay at Renase.

From the moment we were greeted at the riverside by our host upon arrival, until the moment we left, we have been treated with kindness and warmth by our host, his family and the wider community. You see that the community is keen to have tourists stay in Macedonia such that they can then use the funds to progress their community projects. For this reason alone I’d recommend this as a base from which to explore the Amazon rather than staying in Leticia. Sure you could get on a group tour from Leticia which herds you quickly through the various communities on the river but you’d be missing out on so much and only a small portion of your funds would be directly helping this community. Lie back in a hammock, listen to the forest and escape the bustle of everyday life. Highly recommend the tours they run. No agencies are involved, our host just gets the locals with the relevant expertise to conduct the tour / activity. There were only ever the 2 of us on any given tour / activity and we did many of them including night walk, animal sanctuaries, fishing, visit to see the sloths, way of life experience etc so you really are getting the personal touch. Our host provided boots for the muddier walks, good binoculars when needed and flashlights. If you are here on a weekend make sure you are around one of the afternoons to watch the community football and volleyball - Great fun. The heat and mosquitos were no way near as bad as we were expecting but we did take the standard recommended precautions (hats, long sleeves, mosi repellant etc). The meals are expertly prepared and delicious. Recommend to bring good earplugs, roosters wake up early! Muchas Gracias!!!!

Το Casa Azul Reserva Amazonica βρίσκεται σε Leticia και διαθέτει κήπο, βεράντα και δωρεάν WiFi. The journey to enter the hotel was incredible. Life around the area delighted us. It was an incredible place. You really should go and stay here if you want to live the jungle.

We had an excellent time staying with German, Sara and Calet. The location is great, as it allows you to explore the Amazon (both the river and the jungle) with the tours offered with ease. Before we arrived Calet was very helpful by providing us information about the tours possible and advising us on what we need to bring. Botas impermeables were provided, meaning we did not have to pack and bring them ourselves. The property is very clean and comfortable, and there is electricity and Wi-Fi at the property from about mid morning to 12pm. Sara cooked delicious local food for us for all three meals which were excellent value for money. There was a lot of flexibility with the activities we wanted to do, and we were able to do everything we wanted, including seeing the pink dolphins. It was also nice to stay somewhere where it is clear your money is going directly to support both a family, and the surrounding community. We had an amazing time staying here and would recommend it to anyone.
