The owner was extremely hospitable, he let us check in early to have some rest after a long bus ride and was always happy to give tips about Salento or just have chat. The location was perfect, only a 10 min walk to the centre and next to the road leading to all the coffee farms (we booked a coffee tour through this hostel). The rooms were clean, spacious, quiet and with amazing views. There is a water filter in the kitchen.
