For me the location was great: outside of center Espargos means no noises at all, super quiet and relaxing neighbourhood. Minimarket was 5 min walking away, nice and cheap restaurant 3 min. I even walked to the airport which was around 40min. The bus station for the collectivos to Santa Maria (scooter rental) is 20min walking. The room and the house is superclean, modern, and the owner is really friendly, and nearly always available via booking or WhatsApp. He speaks Portugese, Englisch, spanish and french... He has mountain bikes for rent (just 7km to the Salinas), and in the near future also scooter. The room is big with a big bed and a comfy matrace. There is a table and chairs. Also there are enough plugs to charge your stuff. The bathroom looks / is new and has a shower with hot water. The WiFi works great. I loved staying here! Definitely recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Roof, it was the perfect base to explore the town and a great alternative to a resort-style all inclusive, which isn’t really our thing. It is very well located and everything is easily reached on foot - the beach is two minutes walk away. The roof terrace is lovely and secluded, and the small pool is great for those wanting a break from the beach. Everything in the apartment was quite new and the beds were really comfy, with great air conditioning and a small kitchenette, should you need it. There are lots of plugs in the apartment, and we also had a small balcony. JC, the owner, is an incredible host and will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect - a 10/10. He organised any trips we wanted to do, and was always immediately contactable. Nothing was too much trouble, he’s a very helpful guy and it was nice to see an owner who takes a lot of pride in their property and guests’ experience. Due to our room being empty the next day, we were also given the benefit of a later check out to meet our flight time, which was hugely appreciated. Merci pour ce super séjour!

The overall house is also nice and in a quiet area of Santa Maria, around 15mins walking from the center. There are a few restaurants and markets also quite close. The owners are very kind and provided us with some useful tips related to Sal! Very appreciated!

New Rooftop Gem with stunning Oceanview se encuentra en Santa Maria, a pocos pasos de Praia António Sousa, y ofrece alojamiento con salón de uso común, parking privado gratis y terraza. Denilson is a great host, very accommodating and polite. Perfectly location, close to everything but far enough to be relaxed. Great view of the sea, 25metres from the beach. The terrace is a perfect sun trap. Rooms were just what was needed!

We had a fantastic holiday and the accommodation was perfect for us. It was close to all amenities, 5 minutes walk from the centre and about 5 minutes from the beach, it was also cleaned everyday. Leila at the reception was brilliant, very informative and helped us book all the trips and activities for the whole week, she was a great help.
