The shared areas as kitchen, living room, bathroom and the balcony are cleaned daily. Our room was comfortable and had all we needed. We really appreciated Cino our host, who gave us a lot of tips about where to go eat and how to best explore the island. We can only recommend him and his business.

We stayed only for one night as we had another flight early in the morning. The host, Maria is extremely polite and friendly. Even though she says she doesn’t speak English very well, there were 0 issues whatsoever in terms of communication. Overall a great place to lay your head down for a few days or even a week.

We asked for a driver to pick us up last minute at 1am at the airport and they delivered. Centrally located. Very friendly staff as well Would recommend overall.

Praia Archaeology Museum is 1.4 km away and Cape Verde National Library is 1.6 km from the guest house. We had a great stay at Kaza Awa. Our room was big, clean and had air-conditioning. We booked the room with bathroom which was big enough with hot water. We could use the kitchen and fridge which made our stay even better. The host was friendly and was always willing to help us out. The location was good and safe. Close to the beach and also Plateau was just a 30min walk or short taxi ride away. Can highly recommend a stay here!
