Gabrielle, a seasoned michelin star chef and his wife Aliona opened this hotel in 2023. It was a monastery back in 1800 and they renovated mostly by themselves and their 2 sons. Every corner of the hotel has a personal touch, showing their passion and utmost care to a place they now call home. We truly felt their warmth and hospitality. They showed the process of the renovation for 9 full months. It has been an amazing experience in Tuscany and i fell in love with Italy because of their cities and hospitalities. Hope you could visit and stay at this place when you are visiting Tuscany. They have a set menu lunch and dinner at 45 and 65 eur / person, but we have not got a chance to try because they have a full day wedding the next day, so it is not serving lunch and dinner. Next time….

Very cute accommodations. The apartment was very clean. It was well maintained. I stayed solo, but the bed was very nice and large for two. I think the couch converts too, but not sure as I did not use it. Extra blankets in closet. The kitchen was well equipped. Coffee maker, stovetop, small refrigerator. Clothes washer worked great, drying rack was handy. Bathroom had a spacious shower, bidet, toilet, sink. Towel warmer (didn’t use this as it was August and I never know how to work them anyway..lol). Great water pressure. Hair dryer worked great. Lighting in bathroom a bit dim, but not bad. Big mirror. Air conditioning in bedroom only, but was fantastic and reached the kitchen/sitting area just fine. It was August and many heat warnings…again the AC was fantastic! No issues with Wi-Fi. Not many windows, but was out in the beautiful town most of my time, and helped keep apartment cool. Easy self checkin with a code, then key inside. Very close to the Pulcinella clock tower. My brother and sister in law stayed at a different hotel in town and loved this apartment too and said they’ll book it next visit!

We loved our stay in Montepulciano and this was for sure the best accommodation we could’ve chosen. It’s well located, super clean, spacious and comfy. Staff was very helpful as well and even gave us an upgrade. We were super happy with our stay and highly recommend!
