If you’re looking for a place to stay for 4 or 6 people - look no further. We’ve been travelling for 25 days in Japan with our family of 4 and this has been our best experience. We arrived after riding our bikes all day and were greeted by the hosts with hot orange juice, tips on where to get food and even got a lift to get take out as they informed us the best restaurants might be closing soon. Our kids even got a present in the morning. Everything in the room is thought out - the bunk beds are bigger than normal with power outlets. There are Imabari towels. The showerhead is glorious. There is a lot more space then the pictures give away and you wake up with amazing sea view. If you’re doing the Shimanami Kaido or are looking for a place near the beach - stay here.

Taka and Tonari were super helpful to explain everything about the guest house and they even called the fish restaurant nearby to make sure they could prepare a vegetarian dish for me. During the morning a very small earthquake occurred and Tonari immediately came over to see if anyone got scared. Everything was clean and neat. We also appreciated the house rules because even though all guests were staying in dorms/semi private room it was always quiet.

Very nice guest house in yugeshima. Fullly equipped kitchen and bathroom as shared amenities. Rooms are not big, but very comfortable and nicely furnished. Location is quite out of the way, but the host made sure to pick us up from the ferry and had bikes available to rent.

Great cycle oasis. Easy access to a supermarket. Clean, comfortable, well equipped, including bike washing and indoor racks.

Το OMISHIMA SPACE Omoya είναι σε Imabari, σε απόσταση 30 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, κοινόχρηστο χώρο... Everything was super clean, the spaces are really nice and it is perfectly located in the middle point of Shimanami Kaido :)

Το Guesthouse Farmor - Vacation STAY 15083v βρίσκεται σε Imabari, σε απόσταση 31 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine και προσφέρει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi and δωρεάν ιδιωτικό... Really lovely owner that even took us to the local onsen and picked us up. Also reserved a place at a local restaurant, so we wouldn't go hungry. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood and the night sky was cool to see with all the stars. Could store our bicycles under a roof too. Really comfortable beds and pillows.

Το Guest House tokonoma είναι σε Shimo-yuge και έχει κήπο. Οι παροχές του καταλύματος περιλαμβάνουν κοινόχρηστη κουζίνα και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, καθώς και δωρεάν WiFi σε όλους τους χώρους. The house was very spacious and clean (also the room and the Japanese style bathroom.) There were facilities which were necessary for my stay (washing machine, fridge, kitchen, good wifi.) The host was very friendly and helpful. :) I biked around different places in Kamijimacho and all the people I met on the way were very friendly and helpful. A quiet and beautiful place.

Το Cinnamon Guesthouse Dogo βρίσκεται στη Ματσουγιάμα και παρέχει κλιματιζόμενα δωμάτια με δωρεάν WiFi. The staff are very friendly, it is right next to Dogo onsen. I came late and had a top bunk, I was offered a bottom for my second night, however I got back late again and they were all taken. Bit then, I was offered a private room. Lovely. Also the private room had the most comfortable bed I have slept on in 4.5 we eks in Japan. So if you are sick of sleeping on the hard japanese beds, give this place a try.

Το ゲストハウス こごみ庵 βρίσκεται σε Shikokuchuo, σε απόσταση 40 χλμ από Kuroshima Seashore Park Lookout Park, και προσφέρει κλιματιζόμενα δωμάτια. Staying at Kogomian was an unforgettable experience. It’s a unique traditional Japanese house — spacious, cozy, and full of character. But what truly makes this place special are the hosts. I feel so lucky to have met them; it felt like visiting family rather than just staying somewhere. They showed us a local onsen, and on our second night, they prepared a wonderful dinner with homemade udon. We also got to try real matcha, which was such a lovely touch. This stay became one of the most memorable moments of our entire trip. I truly hope to visit this beautiful home again in the future.
