We stopped here during the Ohenro pilgrimage. The host was incredibly friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Fresh towels, high-quality shower gel, and shampoo were provided. There’s also a spacious co-working area and a very friendly ginger cat. Highly recommended!

The guest house was.lovely, well organized, and very clean. I had a single room with shared bath. The room was basic, but very comfortable and clean. I would stay here again . It is easy to get to from the train station. Goggle makes it harder than it really is.

The owner was very helpful, even helping us book ferry tickets to Shikoku, and the attached Izakya had great food and atmosphere.

It’s a wonderful guesthouse with a beautiful river right next to it. The owners are lovely and my room was comfy and clean. The breakfast was delicious, and they can change it to vegetarian for you. It looks like they’re trying to use natural products wherever they can! I really enjoyed staying here :)

Nos enseñó la casa y los alrededores, nos aconsejó sobre actividades y cosas que hacer, nos contó sobre su vida y nos ofreció té y arándanos de su propio cultivo, así como huevos de sus gallinas. La casa es perfecta, con unas vistas preciosas y con TODO lo que alguien puede necesitar. La estancia ha sido maravillosa y muy relajante. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo.

I loved my stay. The host is the nicest owner you could ever meet, so friendly, so willing to help and a good linguist too. I cannot thank him enough for the kind welcome and advice on where to cycle next. The house is much bigger than the photos show with really cool lounging about spaces all over! Much love and care has gone into making the place feel fun and comfortable. Stay as many nights as you can! The local restaurants are excellent and there’s a local supermarket and plenty of sake!

The views, the opportunities for outings in their beautiful village, their warm welcome and thorough explanation of the home's features made this stay incredibly memorable for our family. If we are lucky enough to return to this beautiful area, we will ABSOLUTELY be staying at Guest House En again.
