Bathrooms are shared but very clean. Ai (the host) was super nice and we had a great time. The position is perfect, the place is 1 min away from the ski rental shop and 5 min from the slopes. All the bars and restaurants are less than 5 min walk. If I come back I would stay here again. I totally recommend it.

Dave and Lisa run a warm, welcoming Lodge and work hard to make everyone feel at home. They are great hosts and go that extra mile to make your stay memorable. From the minute we got off the train in Myoko we were looked after. From organizing ski hire and lessons (at last minute), driving us to and from the resorts, to booking and shuttling us to dinner (and even joining us some nights), Dave and Lisa made us feel welcome. We even got a guided off-piste snow boarding tour of Madarao with Dave on a powder day. Kitsune has a relaxed and communal vibe which is in no small part the result of Dave and Lisa's caring approach to their guests. It was a truly unique and unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back Thanks Dave and Lisa.

We got a feeling of being part of a family while staying there with friendly staff giving us extra snacks and dishes with our meals.

The guest house is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The owners Kimi and Miyu are wonderful people, and their kids are awesome too! Breakfast was good with lots of variety and different items every day. All of the facilities, including our room were very well kept and very clean. They gave great suggestions about where to eat and where to enjoy the slopes. Best of all was just hanging out with them and the other guests at the end of the day, while all of the kids played together. I recommend the yuzu sake with a splash of gin!

But what really made this stay exceptional was the host—super helpful, incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone had a great experience. And then there’s the snow—Myoko delivered some of the best conditions I’ve ever skied in! Deep powder, endless terrain, and easy access to the slopes made every day an adventure. Such a great central location, right in the heart of town and close to the slopes. Breakfast every morning was absolutely stellar, and the staff were so friendly, fun and helpful.

The room was warm 100% of the time without the need for a kerosene heater as there was built-in central heating. The room was spacious with everything you needed. Room service was brilliant with pj's folded on the bed and fresh snacks on the table
