I enjoyed the authentic sleeping on tatami floor with futons in a traditional room with a lot of food options nearby for us to consume that night. it felt very safe and enjoyable as a whole and stuff

Excellent tatami room in a guesthouse in Matsue. It is close to Matsue Castle and well connected to other areas, including Matsue Station, by bus. There are some great restaurants about 10 minutes’ walk away and a nice bakery close by for breakfast. Emi-san is an exceptional host who is very welcoming and gives great advice to help you enjoy your stay. I would absolutely recommend.

琴ヶ浜琴風亭 se encuentra en Ōda, a 4,3 km de Nima Sand Museum, y ofrece vistas al mar. Wow - where do we begin? Kio was a phenomenal host! When we booked this stay, we didn't realize that it was more like an air-bnb. The home is shared with Kio and her mom, but we had our HUGE private living quarters and bathroom all to ourselves. We had complete privacy unless they were serving food or we had questions. We were so well taken care of that it was the most personable experience we had while traveling around Japan. We really felt at home. The personal touches and amenities were the best as well as the treats and tea upon arrival. Don't hesitate to book a breakfast in the morning... so delicious! Plus, the town is so sleepy that there was nothing to eat in walking distance. The wood fireplace was my favorite detail and being just steps from the beach was such a treat. Make sure to explore Omoricho during your stay here and stay for at least 2 nights!! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience! We hope to be back some day soon!!
