馬籠ふるさと学校 Magome Furusato Gakkou está en Nakatsugawa, a 11 min a pie de Toson Memorial Museum, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. Buenísimo. A 10 minutos caminando del centro de Magome y la parada de colectivo. Limpio, venden snacks, muy buena lavandería, camas cómodas, duchas cómodas, todo 10/10. Lindo ambiente para conocer viajeros y hacer amigos. Me encantó Magome, fui solo un día, recomiendo ir 2, dedicar uno a descansar y recorrer el pueblo, y el segundo para hacer la caminata Magome Tsumago. Me gustaría volver! 熱海温泉 実の別荘 está en Atami, a 19 min a pie de Playa de Atami Sun y a 27 km de Estación Hakone-Yumoto. Clean stay with the friendliest host. We enjoyed the onsen with wonderful mountain and sea views as well as an ice cream gift after bathing! The host allowed us to drop off our luggae early which freed us to stroll around the temple nearby and the rest of Atami, all of the host’s recommendations! My friends and I used the common area often as it was filled with natural light and windows across the entire span of the room. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After reading the rave reviews, I booked this stay months in advance to make sure we would not miss the opportunity to meet Ken and Yuki and to stay at their guesthouse boasting modern facilities and balancing comfort and sleek design with traditional Japanese architecture and minimalistic and elegant interior design. At the end of a long day hiking, we were greeted with a big smile as if we'd come home to our family, a feeling that is both priceless and heatwarming. Ken's kind and welcoming nature is only rivalled by Yuki's and her sense of humor. Dinner was as delicious as our breakfast (all guests shamelessly went for seconds and some even thirds taking the lead for a brave lady I shall not name), enjoyed to the sound of Jazz standards in a communal spirit shared with the other guests, all of whom polite and considerate, as if handpicked by the hosts or perhaps instinctively mirroring their behavior. Guests do not have to wait to take a shower because there are three showers, one of which with an additional bathtub, for four rooms. Everything is impeccably clean and organized, making you feel restful instantly. So, do not hesitate to book this guesthouse as you make your way along the Old Nakasendo Road or just take a taxi to Magome and walk a few hundred meters to take photos for your Insta. Whether you fit the former or latter category, you will be treated as a family member by the kindest people we've met during our 3-week stay in Japan. I've already recommended this guesthouse to everyone I know who is planning to visiting Japan.

ゲストハウス柚 está en Shingu, a 2 min a pie de Kumano Hayatama Taisha, y dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. The building and the rooms are super traditional and charming and spacious and comfortable. There was a shaved ice machine and prepared ice and sirup, very tasty! Fantastic location, there is a great temple right next to it. The host was super friendly and helpful, he made the stay great!
