Such a relaxing and beautiful place where you can really immerse yourself into a more local and nature experience. Johney also an amazing host, super helpful, offers scooters for rent, free snorkelling gear and kayaks. The hut itself was really nice, huge bed and it would cool down enough in the night with the fan to make comfortable sleeping experience. Only comment I would make is expect no luxury for toilet and shower facilities, its all part of the experience, and we found it very enjoyable but might not be everyones cup of tea.

Lilys is very unique and special because it is owned and run by a local family that are meticulous in offering the best food and service. The restaurant offers the most delicious and high quality meals at very reasonable prices. We went to Lilys before going to a big resort on long set and the food quality at long set was far below Lilys and more expensive. The rooms are lovely and you really feel like you are having a different and memorable experience staying right on the river. We kayaked all the way to the beach through the village and swam on the beach. We also did the boat tour and absolutely loved it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Dahlia. It's situated in a charming local neighborhood filled with delightful restaurants and bars. Ellen's house is spacious, featuring a large lobby where you can work, relax, or enjoy a coffee—Ellen even has a real coffee maker! The entrance is impeccably clean, just like the rest of the house. The room only had a fan, but that wasn't an issue; the window with a net screen provided fantastic ventilation. The cold water in the bathroom wasn't as cold as you might expect, but it was at a pleasant temperature. If you need hot water in a shower, it's conveniently available downstairs, there is bathroom you can use. There's also a kitchen where you can prepare a sandwich or slice some fruit to enjoy on a plate. Everything is tidy and user-friendly. You can also make free refill of your bottles! And there is also a fridge to store your meal / cool your bottles... You can pay by card upon your arrival at the property. It's just a short walk from the pier, but I wouldn't recommend bringing a suitcase; a backpack is much more practical due to the lack of regular roads. One of the highlights of M'Pai village is definitely the food. There are numerous fantastic restaurants! After my experience in Koh Rong, where finding good food was a challenge, this felt like a culinary paradise. Seapony is perfect for breakfast, while Dragonfly is great for drinks and light meals—especially their baba ganoush with flatbread! I ended up extending my stay because the location was simply wonderful. For 5usd you can take a water taxi to other beaches but I prefered M´Pai vibes.

Το Bunnan Bungalows προσφέρει καταλύματα στο νησί Koh Rong. Οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να απολαύσουν γεύματα στο εστιατόριο του ξενοδοχείου ή ένα ποτό στο μπαρ. Since it was Chinese New Year everything was completely booked out and I could only get the wooden bungalow, even though I much prefered a concrete one. But also the wooden bungalow is very nice. It's extremely clean, fans are strong, water pressure is great and the bed very comfy. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Thanks to John we gained 1,5days of out time in the island <3 - location of Blondies is at the end of the infrastructure, so it was calmly there, - great restaurant nearby - room was specious, bed was comfy - there was a fridge in a room and huge jug of water which was super helpful because we didn't have to buy water throughout our stay - John told us about wonderful snorkeling place and lent us glasses for free, so we had a wonderful time watching fish

The owner was super friendly and helpful throughout the stay. I loved the location 200m up the road from the beach, close enough to be convenient to everywhere but far enough away to have a silent night's sleep. The restaurant directly across the road is probably the best in Mpay Bay too.

Great wooden cabin with private bathroom in "jungle" setting. 5 minute walk from the harbour up a slight hill. Clean and comfortable bed with mosquito net over. Big room, big bathroom, extra side room. Hot shower. Bedside shelves with plug sockets. Good lighting, private balcony with a hammock, table & 2 chairs. We booked an extra 2 night's. Would definitely recommend. It's a wooden building with gaps, expect visitors.

Great facilities, incredible location and the friendliness staff and people, even a very lovely cat called Bruno, comfortable beds with mosquito nets and good food!! We rented kayaks from one of the shops by the beach and spent a day on the small island opposite and another day we went on a beautiful walk across the island to another remote beach, seeing hornbills and monkeys! I can not wait to come back
