I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his family. He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

Our stay at Corner Cottage was great! The couple where so welcoming and warm. The food they cooked for us was so tasty! We did a cooking class with them aswell, which was so fun and interesting! They took such good care of us. The room is simple, yet spacious and clean, as is the bathroom. The bed was big, so very comfortable for my 2 meter long boyfriend ;) You also have a living area with sofas. If you go to Anuradhapura, I would really recommend staying at Corner Cottage!

The room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The owner and the entire team were incredibly warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my trip was unforgettable. They organized an amazing safari for me, making the experience completely hassle-free. The location is perfect, offering a serene and picturesque setting that feels like a true escape into nature. The Sri Lankan food served here was exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and authentic. This is an ideal place for anyone visiting Wilpattu National Park. Highly recommended for the location, hospitality, and overall experience!

Το Wilpattu Mookalan Resort προσφέρει καταλύματα με δωρεάν ποδήλατα, κήπο και δωρεάν WiFi. Perfect location 2 mins walk from the entrance to the national park. Lovely attentive hosts, the Mrs is an excellent cook and we ate like kings for our two night stay - breakfasts simple and tasty, dinner an enormous rice and curry spread that could've fed and army, and the lunch box we had on our safari was a tiffin full of delicious fried rice and curry with loads of snacks and drinks. The safari our hosts organised was excellent, just the two of us in the jeep and a driver/guide who could spot an ant from a mile away. Unfortunately no leopards for us but incredible birdlife, and various other animals (spotted and barking deer, warthogs, crocs, mongooses, grey langurs etc).. They also organised very reasonably priced transfers between our accommodations afterwards. There's also a nice loop walk near the lake close to the accommodation for an evening stroll. Highly recommend this place for your time in Wilpattu.

Lovely clean room. Great host who was very hospitable. Lovely filling breakfast. Great location which can be used as a base to explore the cultural triangle.

It’s very rustic and simple. AC is very functional. There were a few hiccups, but the outstanding staff addressed everything immediately. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious. There isn’t a lot to do in Habarana, but it’s a great location to stay if you want to visit the cave temple, Sigiriya, Miniriya and Polonnaruwa. The first three are less than 30 mins away. Polonnaruwa was a fast hour.

Staying at Sweet Home Tourist Rest turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Sri Lanka. It’s rare to find a place that offers both great value and a truly personal touch , but this one does exactly that. Instead of just a room, we had an entire private apartment, including a comfortable living room, which gave us so much space to relax. It was quiet, clean, and located in a peaceful part of town, making it easy to rest and recharge between our adventures. And considering the price, it felt like an absolute steal. What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Το Blooming Holiday Resort είναι σε Anuradhapura, σε απόσταση 4,2 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Anuradhapura Railway Station και διαθέτει καταλύματα με εξωτερική πισίνα, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο... My wife and I stayed at Blooming for two nights and loved it! It’s a bit away from downtown Anaradhapura (like Tuk Tuk distance) but that made it very private and we had no issues with noise. The room was spotless on arrival and everything worked as expected. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the TV was a nice bonus. The beds were comfortable and we slept well! The bathroom had great water pressure and was clean too! We had breakfast there both mornings and dinner once. The dinner was an additional charge but it was well worth it! They fed us so much food and it was all homemade Sri Lankan! We also used the pool both days and that was a nice break from the Sri Lankan heat.

Very good guest house, the owner is very friendly, and serves an exceptional breakfast. He helped us in the plan. The room was big and clean. Sigiriya's rock drop in his tuk tuk was great.
