Be aware there is no hot water, but as we learned, this is fairly common in Sri Lanka. It’s on the main road, so there is some traffic noise, but it didn’t bother us. Dinner is also available with notice to the family.

This young couple is welcoming and energetic to create an exceptional yet homey experience for tourists. Make sure you request dinner! Amazing food and with a tuk tuk on site it was so convenient to get a ride to the bus and our own tour!

The guest house also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. New Homestay with comfortable big rooms. Very nice shower, better than what I have at home. Silent airconditioning. Not cheap but worth the price because of the quality of the rooms. Extra will be breakfast 1200,diner 1500, softdrinks 300-500. Food good though. Contact with the manager only by phone, that's a pity, contact with the local family who takes care of the accommodation and food is very good, though little English.

They arrange the airport transfer to their place, the accommodation for two nights and the amazing safari in Wilpatu NP. Everything was great, all by plan (even the leopards) and we enjoyed a lot our stay. The place is super chill and surrounded by nature, just at the door of the national park. Everything is clean and the meals delicious. The best choice to meet wild fauna and wonderful people. Bohomo istouti!!

Kadahatha Wawa Lake is 1.7 km from the guest house, while Habarana Lake is 2.2 km from the property. Sigiriya Airport is 11 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The property was lovely and serene. Kalahara, the host, was just exceptional. He does not overlook a single detail and he is gracious and willing to share excellent suggestions with you. I loved that he walked me through his garden, pointing out all of the unique trees and plants he has.

He can arrange whatever you need, from massages to safari trips. We felt like we were at home. Everyday there was a live music show in the afternoon. Food is also fantastic. Everyday we get different local breakfasts to try different things. In Visu Villa everything was amazing 😍

It’s rare to find a place that offers both great value and a truly personal touch , but this one does exactly that. Instead of just a room, we had an entire private apartment, including a comfortable living room, which gave us so much space to relax. It was quiet, clean, and located in a peaceful part of town, making it easy to rest and recharge between our adventures. And considering the price, it felt like an absolute steal. What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Everything, you reach the place and you know immediately that you will have a great time and you will chill. Hosts are amazing, helpful they guy took me to sigiriya with his tuk tuk for a very cheap price. They will help you with everything since they speak very good English and they are amazing people. The room was huge woth 3 beds, super clean, smells unbelievable and it has sockets plugs, hot water and a table to put your luggage so you don't habe to bend. AC is provided. Bathroom was also big and clean. I loved the outside area with all these wood chairs tables and sofas. The breakfast was very good and a big portion. I wish I could have stayed longer since it's a place you can relax and enjoy. Habarana is so authentic and not touristic, nice people, friendly and affordable place to stay and I definitely suggest spending a few days here.
