I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his family. He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

Siempre preocupados por nuestro bienestar, y resolviendo todas nuestras inquietudes ya que recién llegábamos a Sri Lanka. A destacar el perfecto inglés de Gihan lo cuál hace que la comunicación fluya sin problemas. También hicimos la cooking class con ellos, una gran experiencia también.

MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU dispone de alojamiento con aire acondicionado en Nochchiyagama. Hay terraza, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Las habitaciones son enormes, nuevas y con un porche a un jardín, el trato fue encantador, la comida muy rica y la ayuda al organizar el safari fueron de 10, volvería sin lugar a duda.

Wilpattu Mookalan Resort, que cuenta con bicicletas gratis, jardín y wifi gratis, se encuentra en Habawewa, a 39 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank y a 39 km de Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. La amabilidad de toda la familia es espectacular. Se preocupan por todo. Ubicación fantástica pues está a las puertas del PN Wilpattu. Cena muy abundante, hay que decirle que ponga menos para no tirar comida, pero estaba riquísima.

Swan Lake Habarana se encuentra en Habarana, a 12 km de Pidurangala Rock, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. Very good and friendly host! We checked for Safari in a few hours, and all was arranged quick and swiftly! Safari was good, as we saw a lot of elephants 🐘 Small and cosy place with 3 different rooms, but large rooms with everything you need here. AC, ventilator above the bed, firm mattrass, clean bathroom.

VISU VILLA hotel está en Habarana, a 10 km de Pidurangala Rock, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. The best and affordable place to stay in Habarana. I recommend warmly the Visu villa hotel. The host are very nice and friendly.

Staying at Sweet Home Tourist Rest turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Sri Lanka. It’s rare to find a place that offers both great value and a truly personal touch , but this one does exactly that. Instead of just a room, we had an entire private apartment, including a comfortable living room, which gave us so much space to relax. It was quiet, clean, and located in a peaceful part of town, making it easy to rest and recharge between our adventures. And considering the price, it felt like an absolute steal. What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Blooming Holiday Resort está en Anuradhapura, a 4,2 km de Anuradhapura Railway Station, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. La familia es súper agradable, te ayudan con todo, son muy honestos, la comida estaba muy buena, el trato del matrimonio ha sido inmejorable repetiría sin dudarlo! desayuno muy rico y completo.

Habarana Dulwan Guest House está a 12 km de Pidurangala Rock y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, terraza y servicio de habitaciones. Los dueños son super amables y las habitaciones están muy limpias y cómodas.

Sunhill Lake Tourist Rest es un alojamiento con una ubicación ideal en el centro de Anuradhapura que dispone de wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento, jardín y parking privado gratis. We arrived very late after 1 AM from Colombo via the express bus and the hosts waited for us! Room was spacious and comfortable with hot water and a/c. Breakfast spots were within walking distance. Their house faces the lake with migratory birds and can be a pleasing morning or evening walk. Host managed to arrange a scooter for us at a resonable price, which we took to visit the ancient capital and Mihintale. They have 2 teens and we chat with their daughter about the country, cricket, salaries and inflation. Host wife allowed us to use the kitchen to cut fruits. Host husband dropped us at the bus station on his tuk tuk for the next leg of our journey. I'd say it is a pleasant stay to get to know the locals better.
