Perfect and peaceful location, with really helpful and kind staff. They also have the smartest and most lovely dog I have seen. Totally recommended. In order to go to the apartment don’t follow Google maps, ask the locals at the villages as you pass by.

Very nice and helpful staff, happy to advise and help with everything. Breakfast was great and if you pay for dinner, you get one of the best rice and curry! The rooms are spacious and clean. The view from the pool is priceless! ❤️

Sarath and his wife Deepthi are the most delightful hosts. We had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home in the jungle. We had a steam massage (highly recommended) and Sarath took us for walks around his spice plantation. It’s a beautiful place to unwind and chill, and you are looked after so well. Deepthi’s cooking is amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Very nice and old guest house. We had everything on our own. There is a living room, a kitchen, a garden and a terrace Which you can use. Highly recommend this guest house.

Friendly and trusted staffs. They provided everything what we asked. Facilities are as per the details provided at the time of booking. Even though I paid extra day as check out time is 11am and I left the facility at 6pm, they refunded my extra day payment.

This was our second stay at Ashburnham Estate, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. Ashburnham offers not just a break from the everyday, but a complete shift in pace. The whole fteam is gracious and attentive without ever being intrusive, and their warmth and professionalism enhanced the sense of calm and care. Without any doubt it was the best stay of our trip. The house owner is an extremely humble man. He has a cute little family living at the villa too which gives such a homely and safe feeling. His little girl Chloe was our favorite part of the stay we miss her so much. The property owner cooperated with us to an extreme extent. He even gave us complimentary pancakes for our anniversary. He was so fast in replying to our messages. He guided us on every step. Because of him, our Kandy stay became perfect!
