Would highly recommend Sunshine Villas. It is beautiful accommodation in a fantastic location with an array of wildlife at your doorstep! They arranged everything for us at ease and great prices. We stayed for 2 nights. Our flight landed at 3am and Sunshine Villas had pickup waiting to bring us straight to the accommodation. On arrival they had a beautiful breakfast waiting. They then accommodated our early check in. After a nap we were brought to the elephant safari by one of the sunshine villa staff which was incredible. They then arranged a tuk tuk driver for us for day 2! I couldnt rate more highly! The staff are so helpful and polite. The room was immaculate with hot water, and a choice of air con or a fan! I would rate 10/10

Es difícil explicar lo increíble que es este lugar. Hay muchísimos alojamientos en Sigiriya pero este es absolutamente único. La energía es calmada y amable, la naturaleza lo envuelve todo. Nuestra habitación tenía vistas a Lion Rock y Pidurangala, un privilegio único. El personal es amable, servicial, educado, profesional, amoroso, no se puede mejor. Estuvieron atentos a todas nuestras necesidades e incluso alguna dificultad que surgió con temas de transporte. Se preocupan de forma genuina por sus huéspedes. El alojamiento está completamente limpio, la comida excepcional y la cocina abierta todo el día. Los desayunos muy abundantes, recomiendo sin duda el "Sri Lanka" , muy diferente y muy delicioso. Repetiría mil veces allí. Les deseo lo mejor. Gracias.

Harsha the host is very kinds and always helpful. His wife cooked Sri Lankan foods are very delicious. We joined her cooking class. They using most of spices and vegetables they own farm and garden. They planted many fruits ( mango , banana, guava, etc..). It’s a shame we have to leave this paradise. Definitely we will come back next year.

Villa Hanguk is an ideal spot if you plan to explore the Dambulla area. The owner is incredibly helpful, offering assistance with scooter or tuk-tuk rentals and organizing local trips. The villa is nestled just 400 meters from the main city street, surrounded by lush paddy fields. The beautifully maintained garden is filled with vibrant plants and flowers, offering plenty of cozy spots to relax—whether in a hammock, at a dining area, or playing table games. Being in the middle of nature, you can expect the delightful sounds of wildlife, including peacocks. It truly adds to the charm of the place. One of the highlights of our stay was the Sri Lankan food. The meals were not only delicious but also generously portioned. I highly recommend skipping outside restaurants and instead asking the staff to prepare dinner for you—you won’t be disappointed!

Hidden Lake Cottages Sigiriya se encuentra en Sigiriya, a 6,4 km de Yacimiento arqueológico de Sigiriya, y ofrece alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, piscina al aire libre y... Es un paraíso. La familia propietaria hace lo máximo para vuestra satisfacción. La cocina de Chandhi excelente, su risa nos ecantó , su desayuno es extraordinario y su amabilidad , la de su marido Mahesh tanto como la de su hermana fueron realmente maravillosas. Pasamos unos días geniales. Muchas gracias preciosa familia ! ❤

Simoya Nature Park está en Dambulla, a 19 km de Yacimiento arqueológico de Sigiriya y a 22 km de Pidurangala Rock. Ofrece alojamiento con jardín y wifi gratis. We stayed in 8 different hotels and homestays during our trip and this one was the best by far. The couple managing the facility had a great job to create a very special environment and experience. The rooms were very clean, decorated with flowers etc. The breakfast was the best. They gave us great tips, suggestions for our trip. We felt like we are part of the family. The facility is very close to the Dambulla Cave Temple but it is also in a very silent corner with a great garden. You can see monkeys, giant squirrel, birds and other wildlife just around the facility. We definitely suggest this place to anyone traveling around Dambulla.

Relax Nature Villa se encuentra en Sigiriya, a 3,5 km de Yacimiento arqueológico de Sigiriya, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. This place was the perfect retreat for 4 nights. Quiet and comfortable, the location was lovely. The hosts were absolutely amazing and the included breakfast was delightful. We chose to have dinner 4 nights in a row, choosing their vegetarian rice & curry as it was both delicious and very affordable compared to other restaurants in the area. The hosts were lovely, helpful, and always quick to respond to any of our questions, including arranging an early morning tuktuk for us. The wifi was functional for basic searches, but we recommend having some books to read to truly indulge in the experience. We definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing stay! I l strongly recommend this place to any traveler looking for some relaxing atmosphere. The family was very nice and super helpful in helping me to plan my stay. They provided very useful recommendations and help with ordering tuktuk. The food was the best I had in Sri Lanka so far, highly recommend to enjoy your dinner there. The room was very nice and clean, AC, huge bathroom. The garden was very pretty. The guesthouse is located a bit outside of the main road but the village is accessible by foot. Last but not least, I did the safari with the owner, which was one of the best experience I had. Safari was in Hurulu Forest Reserve, a very nice forest, and we saw lots of (baby) elephants. Highly recommended!

We were really impressed with this guest house. The owner, Ashoka, went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable. He was very personable and the service was great. We also enjoyed the dinner and breakfast we had. I’d really recommend staying here!
