The real highlight was the use of the shared kitchen, which was well equipped, and there are several markets near by for fresh produce and eggs, which was a welcome change. Would definitely recommend staying at this property during your time in Trincomalee!

His staff members, especially Justin, were super attentive and took good care of us. The garden is huge and well looked after.

The homeowners are truly lovely — caring, attentive, and always there if needed, yet never intrusive. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and at home. The owner even arranged for a trusted friend to pick me up from the airport — such a thoughtful gesture which I appreciate a lot! The shared terrace and patio are very nice for relaxing. The location is fantastic: the beach is just 2 minutes away, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. I felt so comfortable and welcomed throughout my stay - truly a place I would recommend to everyone! Thank you so much for everything!

Set in Nilaveli, a few steps from Nilaveli Beach, Moon Isle Beach Bungalow offers accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. I love the location! It's right on the beach! And during the time we were there, the beach to the left and to the right from the hotel was deserted. There are only a few rooms at the hotel and guests would leave somewhere and at times it felt like we had our own private beach just for two of us! Also having breakfast and dining there is so great, because again your doing it right on the beach, so the scenery and the sounds of waves are perfect. I live how they have us so many different traditional Sri-Lankan side dishes to our order. The bungalows are located far from the main road, so you only hear the sound of waves and nothing else. Very nice owners and staff - they helped us with luggage both during check-in and check-out and did it out of genuine hospitality, not like most places in the world where they help you with luggage and stay there wait for tips. Really great place, very romantic, I hope we'll be able to come back to Sri-Lanka again and stay at these Bungalows!

We were very happy with the homely food. When we visit Trincomalee, we will definitely stay there again. The tariff was very moderate for the facilities provided. The location is easily accessible from the city and the beach.
