The guesthouse is in the perfect spot to walk in five minutes to one of the best beaches: not overrun, beautiful water, nice waves and not too many tourists (or locals). Just perfect for relaxing, swimming and catching some sun or shade. The breakfast is more than enough and very delicious, the woman who runs the guesthouse is very helpful, attentive and lovely. It’s very good value for money and we had one of the best stays in Sri Lanka here! A lovely veranda and garden to hang out after a day at the beach and trinco is not far away (visit the temples, the one in the city is very well worth it). We added one night because we loved the spot so much :)

This was the place we enjoyed the most in our two months in Sri Lanka. Shas and his wife were amazing host. The place was very clean and tidy, there is a kitchen in case you would like to use it. The beach is one minute away walking and it was delightful to wake up and see the sunrise there. The garden is also very special, many spots to chill and birds to see. The breakfast was also great and the scooter for rent were very nice with a very reasonable price. We booked 3 nights and end up staying more than one week, we felt so comfortable there.

Our hosts Sitthu, Vinoth and Justin took good care of us and we felt at home at Jeys Place ! We had the opportunity to discover some secrets of the Sri Lankan kitchen, the location of the place is nice and close to the beach and the garden is really nice to relax. We highly recommend staying here for having a nice stay in Nilaveli ! :)

Excellent as I expected because I stayed there last year.So peaceful my days on the beach were tremendous, almost the whole beach to myself,only a few locals every now and then.Brenda makes the stay by providing anything and everything your heart desires.If you want a peaceful relaxing simple natural place to stay slightly outside of Trincomalee this is it. Clean beautiful room, lovely garden and lovely people

WiFi worked fine, I was able to work on my laptop. Property is close to the beach, a few restaurants (during my stay they opened after 5.30pm though), close to the shop for water. Aircon worked perfectly, and there was a seating area outside as well. Owners were really sweet

Super clean and big room, place for sitting in front of the room. Great garden, well maintained. Beach is 2 mins away. You can use kitchen for preparing food, refrigerator in the kitchen. Thines is great host, speaks good english. I had a problem with foot wound and Thines was able to help me. Thank you so much!
