Beautiful hotel in a convenient but quiet location north of Zagora with beautiful bedrooms and possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The beautiful gardens around the central pool are a real oasis of calm and relaxation. What a wonderful place to return to after adventuring in the area. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and incredibly generous! And the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Nureddin speaks several languages including excellent English. Local expeditions, activities and guides can be arranged through the hotel. Top recommendation!

I made the reservation accidentally not knowing they were undergoing renovations, but the owner still let me stay there. He was so kind and accommodating. He made me tea and made the room up very comfortably for me. Even though they were renovating, the place was gorgeous and very clean. I HIGHLY recommend!!! (Also there’s an adorable kitty named couscous who loves getting pets 🥰)

We didn't give it a 10 only because we found the price a bit on the high side compared to all the other places we stayed at during our 24 days road trip.

This is a stunningly beautiful hotel in an equally stunningly beautiful location. The exceptional design of the building conveys a relaxed ambiance that also keeps the building cool throughout the midday heat. The staff is great as is the food. The balcony is a great place to watch the sunrise and have breakfast. The surrounding area from the mountains, farms, historical sites and villages gives great opportunities for hiking around. I would highly recommend this kasbah.

Very comfortable property, we felt warm and comfortable and well cared for. Mohammed Kadim took care of us like we have never been taken care of before.

Το Kasbah Maktob Tamnougalt προσφέρει καταλύματα στον προορισμό Agdz. Kasbah Maktob is enchanting, like staying in a comfortable museum full of Berber artifacts; one is surrounded by Amazigh culture. Also provided by wonderful host Mustapha, a sculptor and musician who will play and sing after supper on the traditional gimbri, the Moroccan bass. We stayed in the top room, the family room, spacious with an incredible view from its balcony out over the palm oasis. Kasbah Tamnougalt is my favourite in Morocco, and Kasbah Maktob sits within its ancient walls. Mustapha is also a fabulous cook, so meals were delicious. One of my favourite places to stay in Morocco -- don't miss Tamnougalt and the Agdz area. Beautiful.

It's an absolutely amazing place! The rooms are really nice and the garden is amazing! The staff is very friendly and welcoming - you really feel at home there. Το Dar Pienatcha έχει δωρεάν ποδήλατα, εξωτερική πισίνα, κήπο και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, στον προορισμό Zagora. We originally didn't plan on eating at the accommodation but we arrived a bit later than expected and asked when we arrived if it would still be possible (even though we originally confirmed that we wouldn't that morning). The host was very welcoming and whipped up one of the most delicious meals we ate in Morocco! Nice, clean rooms and a great pool!
